In the wake of the devastating wildfires that swept through Maui, Horizon Signal is immensely proud to have played a crucial role in the island’s recovery efforts.

Following the disaster, roads were left damaged, and traditional traffic signals lay powerless. The resulting traffic added an additional layer of complexity to an already challenging situation. Working closely with local officials and the Hawaii DOT, our partner GP Roadway Solutions swiftly mobilized resources to deploy several SQ3TS Portable Traffic Signals across affected areas. Their rapid deployment proved instrumental in mitigating the immediate challenges faced by Maui’s residents and first responders. 

Our collaboration with Maui in this relief effort exemplifies the importance of innovative solutions during times of crisis. Beyond just providing a practical service, we aimed to contribute to the restoration of a sense of normalcy for the community. In times of adversity, it is the collective response that defines recovery, and we are proud to have been a part of Maui’s journey toward rebuilding.
